Everhart Law Firm is honored to announce that Amy Everhart has been recognized in the 2018 edition of Managing Intellectual Property’s “IP Stars – Top 250 Women in IP,” a list of leading women intellectual property lawyers globally. According to the publication, “This special publication recognises female practitioners in private practice who have performed exceptionally for their clients and firms in the past year. These leading female practitioners have been selected from our general IP stars list. The list is based on information obtained during the research for this year’s edition of IP STARS.”
Amy Everhart has been nominated as a fellow of the American Bar Foundation. According to the Foundation website: The Fellows comprise a global honorary society of attorneys, judges, law faculty, and legal scholars whose public and private careers have demonstrated outstanding dedication to the highest principles of the legal profession and to the welfare of their communities. Membership in the Fellows is limited to one percent of lawyers licensed to practice in each jurisdiction. Fellows are recommended by their peers and elected by the Board of the American Bar Foundation. Established in 1955, Fellows support the research of the American Bar Foundation through annual contributions and sponsor seminars and events of direct relevance to the legal profession.

On December 12, 2013, Amy Everhart participated as a panelist at the Arts & Business Council of Greater Nashville’s arts crawl and continuing legal education event, fielding the “top questions by visual artists.”
On October 23, 2013, Amy Everhart participated on a panel at Belmont University Law School, sharing her experiences and pointers on the topic of How I Put My Law Degree to Work: Finding Your Niche in the Law.
Amy Everhart was named the Middle Tennessee Director of the Tennessee Lawyers’ Association for Women for the 2013-2014 term. Her duties including leading the charge on the launch of the organization’s new website and social media campaign.
